Joel Nielson

With nearly a decade of experience in the medical field service industry, Joel Nielsen serves as a dedicated Business Process Owner supporting Hologic’s Global Field Service organization. Joel is instrumental in prioritizing, managing, and deploying large-scale projects that significantly impact workflows across multiple divisions and functions. He oversees and contributes to projects aimed at reducing costs, driving revenue opportunities, and standardizing service delivery. This includes enhancements to service entitlements and pricing transactions, optimization of forward and reverse logistics, improvements to asset management processes, and the expansion of enabling technologies and service offerings, such as predictive and after-hours service. His deep understanding of the business, combined with a clear vision for positive change, enables him to effectively address the challenges faced by both customers and internal functions.
