Daniel Scholz began his field service career at 3M in 1981. Since then he has held many roles including Field Service Technician, Technical Trainer, Course Developer, Technical Writer & Editor, Field Service Supervisor, Service Engineering Manager, Technical Service Manager, Service Marketing, Customer CARE Center Manager, Inside Sales Manager, Eastern Region Sales Manager, Sales Operations Manager, National Pricing Manager, Corp. Compensation Manager, Organizational Development Manager, Human Resource Manager, Business Leader APAC region, Interim Business Leader Europe, Global Sales Training Manager and currently National Field Service Manager. (Whew) Last year 3M acquired KCI / Acelity and combined they have about 125 field service locations and approximately 500 field service personnel.
