Elliott Jones

Chief Information Security Officer Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego

Elliott Jones is the Chief Information Security Officer for Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego (RCHSD). He joined the hospital in early 2017 and is responsible for RCHSD’s diverse information security strategy. In this capacity he leads the corporate Information Security department’s vision in key areas, including policy, awareness, vulnerability management, risk management, incident response and operations. Prior to joining RCHSD, Mr. Jones was responsible for the US Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific’s enterprise cybersecurity program. Throughout his career he has also filled technical roles supporting research and development of cryptographic systems for sponsors such as the National Security Agency and the US Air Force. Mr. Jones holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Pepperdine University.
