Senior Digital Project Manager, Global Service and Support Thermo Fisher Scientific

Jakrey is a thought leader, influencer, and evangelist in industrial Extended Reality (AR/VR/MR) applications. In his role at Thermo Fisher Scientific, he developed a strategy and roadmap for implementing Extended reality into service and support. Recently, he launched Smart Remote Support which provides an AR enhanced remote support platform for improved service productivity and superior customer experience.

Jakrey also heads up initiatives for predicative maintenance, using IIoT, Big Data, and Machine Learning to reduce customer downtime by proactively monitoring instrument health. He leads SCRUM teams in the end-to-end design and creation of instrument health dashboards using a cloud-based data lake and predictive models that sit underneath an intuitive and easy to use visualization interface.

Jakrey has a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and has held various roles in Thermo Fisher’s services and support teams. Prior to his tenure at Thermo Fisher, he developed molecular and cellular analysis systems for cancer research at Arizona State University.
