Lorin Theiss

Director, Technical Service 3M

Lorin is directly responsible for US and European depot repair centers and supports other repair centers spread around the world.  In addition, he leads the Global Repair Forum with the goal of identifying failure trends early, improving repair efficiency and improving product reliability.  Through his career at 3M+KCI, Lorin has worked in Engineering and Program Management roles and launching numerous new products.  He has a passion for continuous improvement and project execution. 

Prior to joining 3M+KCI, he spent 11 years at Procter & Gamble in a variety of engineering, operations startup and project management roles across the globe working in over 40 countries. He also worked as a Plant Operations Manager for DeWalt at Black & Decker.  

Lorin earned his BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from MIT and currently resides in San Antonio, TX.
